Knowing Matt and Kristen for a few years made it more special when I was asked to be one of their photographers on their wedding day. It was one of the coldest and windiest weddings I have photographed, but it didn’t stop the couple from having fun and enjoying the day. Matt had a few surprises up his sleeve, for Kristen, which added to the emotion and personalization to their day. Kristen could barely hold it together as she listened to the montage song Matt had commissioned Jonah Matranga (jonahmatranga.com) to create for a portion of his vowels. It included some of her students expressing why Kristen is so awesome, and induced many tears. I worked alongside Chris Rocco to capture the following images.
