I’ve known Dave for some time, as we worked in the same facility years back. He’s the head golf pro at Trump National Philadelphia, which is where their wedding was hosted. What was unique for me, is that I got to see the very early stages of them flirting and dating. I was asked to document Donald Trump’s visit to the club to join his daughter, Tiffany, prior to her graduation from University of Penn. During my time photographing some of the setup (food mostly), I was chatting with Dave and Alyssa and could see the electricity between them. I asked Alyssa if they hang out and she had mentioned that they just went or are going (I can’t exactly remember) to a wedding together- and how that was one of the first things that they were doing together that was a bigger deal. Of course I talked Dave up, as it’s easy, due to the truth that he is a genuine soul with a good sense of humor and easy vibe. Alyssa, as I’ve come to see, is also so easy going, humorous, playful and sweet. The great thing between them is that they totally adore each other. It’s always an honor to be asked to document someone’s wedding, but it’s really cool when another photographer asks, and Alyssa does her own photography.
Their wedding day was smooth and gorgeous. The two of them were so willing to put the effort in to their photography and I think that shows in these images. Below is just a few that I enjoyed as we sort through preparing their proofs. We hope you enjoy! Thanks for viewing.
