Last summer I had the opportunity to photograph a holocaust survivor for South Jersey Magazine as they were interviewing him about his experience. I photographed most of the session candid during the interview, and at the end he posed for a couple of portraits – these are the ones the magazine chose. It was an honor to hear Charles’ tale of how he made it through. It was very emotional to witness him retell it.
