About a month back Katie contacted us to see if we were available for her September wedding and fortunately we were. The day crept up quick for us, so I can only imagine how it felt on their end as they planned from afar, living in California. They planned a very non-traditional, simple, yet elegant wedding. They kept it very intimate, as they both got ready at the same location and once were dressed we set up their reveal in the back yard of Katie’s parents. We then met them in downtown Haddonfield, which holds a special place in my heart as it’s where I started my photography career and still teach at the adult school. We were able to use the background of the town to capture some images of them in love on their wedding day. It was cute, as they are both self-proclaimed “shy” in front of the camera- but I think they blossomed once we put them together. They hosted their ceremony and reception at the Haddon Fortnightly on Kings Hwy and it was officiated and hosted by Summit Catering.
